As a valued client of Quadrent, we appreciate the trust you place in us to make sure all your critical equipment financing services and IFRS16 accounting software continue.
We are committed to an evidence-led and common-sense approach to containing the Coronavirus outbreak and mitigating its impact on employees, customers and our wider business operations. Our number one priority is to protect our people, clients and communities and with this we have implemented a number of precautionary measures.
Our team continue to operate and are proactive in our support of our clients, team and partners in these changing times. To do this we have business continuity plans in place to minimise the risk of infection and make sure we can continue deliver business-as-usual service to our customers should an infection occur. These include implementing clear guidelines for employees and contractors, providing support and advice for anyone who needs to self-quarantine, and issuing guidance on following safe hygiene practices across the organisation.
We have provisioned all our employees with the technology to enable them to work from home should the need arise and have a clear plan in place for this process.
We’ve also implemented a social distancing policy in all offices and are urging all visitors to follow hygiene advice. Appropriate sanitisers have been issued in all offices.
Below are some frequently asked questions you may have surrounding our business continuity planning for Coronavirus (COVID-19). If you have a specific query, please email our team and we will reply as soon as possible.
What steps are you taking to prevent the spread of Coronavirus?
A Coronavirus awareness process has been implemented for employees through a combination of emails, intranet postings, posters and team meetings. Timely updates are being provided and facts from authoritative resources have been communicated giving information and clear instructions in the event employees suspect they have been exposed to Coronavirus.
The business has clearly articulated its procedures and, should the need arise, expectations for working from home have been set, as this is an effective strategy for limiting the spread of contagion among employees. Quadrent has instituted a non-travel policy and all meetings are now phone or web conferences for meetings of more than 5 people.
What steps are you taking if staff are infected?
The following plan will be implemented if an employee is showing symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties.
Should an employee present with diagnosed Coronavirus or suspected Coronavirus, we will ensure they are isolated as quickly as possible, don’t visit any customers and gather advice from the Ministry of Health / Department of Health.
If they have been in an office, Quadrent will make sure they are immediately isolated away from the office as soon as possible. Quadrent will close the office, undertake a deep clean and re-open the office once a 14-day isolation period has passed. If they have been in contact with clients, those clients would be notified.
Health authorities may take very directive actions in the case of any outbreak in which we are involved, so our plan is fluid and reactive to the needs of any externally imposed instructions or restrictions.
What steps are you taking if a location is partially or fully closed?
In the event of an office closure, our plans have our teams working from home and self-isolating. We will also deep clean any of the office/s they have visited.
Quadrent has undertaken a full audit to ensure staff are able to work from home.
In summary, these are uncertain times and we value and thank you for your support and we offer you ours.
