Charity Golf Day raises $50k for the Sir John Kirwan Foundation
Serious fundraising for kids mental health requires a bit of fun, after all "laughter is the best medicine."
It was another fantastic day on the beautiful greens of the North Shore Golf Club for Quadrent's 6th Annual Charity Golf Day which took place on 7th April 2022. This year $50,012 was raised for the Sir John Kirwan Foundation and Mitey.
Mitey is an approach for children in Years 1 to 8, and teaches them the IQ and EQ around "dealing with whatever life throws at you." Every part of Mitey, from the role of the coaches to the units of work, have been co-designed with teachers and the University of Auckland’s Faculty of Education and Social Work. It is grounded in both international best practice and pioneering local research.
Unfortunately, we didn't see anyone hit the elusive hole-in-one to win a Range Rover Velar (R-Dynamic SE), but congratulations to all our prize winners!
Again a huge thank you to all our Charity Golf Day sponsors and prize donators.
See you next year! Be sure to book it into your diaries - 24th March 2022. For more details, keep an eye out on our Annual Charity Golf Day page here
